Welcome to Trovo

Trovo is a private trip companion app for small groups. By using Trovo, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What You Can Do

• Create and join trips with people you know and trust
• Share itineraries, bookings, photos, and live locations during trips
• Use the Trovo AI assistant to help plan and answer questions about your trip
• Install Trovo as a progressive web app on your device

What You Can't Do

• Share your account credentials with others
• Abuse the service or attempt to disrupt it (spam, DDoS, scraping, etc.)
• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use Trovo for commercial purposes without permission

Account Access

New accounts start as pending and require approval from the app administrator (Dev). Dev can approve, disable, or remove accounts at any time. Trip creators (Dev and Editors) can invite people to trips and set their role (Viewer, Member, Editor).

Your Content

You own the photos, notes, and other content you create in Trovo. By uploading content, you grant Trovo the right to store and display it to trip members. You can delete your own photos at any time. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you share.

Privacy and Data

We take your privacy seriously. Read our Privacy Policy to understand what data we collect and how it's used. Trip members can see shared itinerary data, locations (when you enable sharing), and photos. Location sharing is opt-in and can be paused at any time.

Third-Party Services

Trovo uses external services for maps (OpenStreetMap), geocoding (Nominatim), routing (OSRM), and AI chat (DeepSeek). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for their availability or accuracy.

No Warranty, Limited Liability

Trovo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Use Trovo at your own risk. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data, missed trips, or incorrect route information.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we need to shut down the service. You can stop using Trovo at any time. Contact the app administrator if you want your data deleted.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top and notify active users. Continued use of Trovo means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the app administrator resides. Any disputes will be resolved in that jurisdiction.
